List Of Nations Waiting In Line To Purchase BrahMos After Operation Sindoor

India’s BrahMos supersonic cruise missile has attracted a lot of attention from around the world. The Philippines has confirmed agreements with the weapon, and extensive discussions have been held with Indonesia, Vietnam, and Malaysia.

Due to reports that it was used in the Indian Armed Forces’ major military operation, Operation Sindoor, the BrahMos supersonic cruise missile has attracted a lot of attention from around the world. Because of how well it performed during this operation, the missile is now a desirable asset for many nations looking to strengthen their defensive capabilities. Operation Sindoor, which was carried out a few days after the terror incident in Pahalgam that killed 26 tourists, is reported to have caused significant harm to Pakistani and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) terror camps.

Philippines

Malaysia

Indonesia

Talks between Indonesia and India on acquiring BrahMos missiles have progressed. According to the Indonesian military ministry, no final decision had been taken in March 2025, despite early reports indicating a possible $450 million deal.

Vietnam

A $700 million deal between India and Vietnam to transfer BrahMos missiles is almost complete. The goal of the deal is to improve Vietnam’s aerial and maritime defense capabilities in the face of escalating South China Sea tensions.

Countries that have expressed interest in the BrahMos missile system include Thailand, Singapore, Brunei, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Oman, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, and Venezuela.

In order to strengthen their defense capabilities, especially in the areas of naval and coastal defense, these countries are looking into acquiring BrahMos.
