Indian Railways (IR) has launched a Vande Bharat train connecting New Delhi and Patna.

This new service will enhance the link between the two cities. For the time being, this semi high speed train will function as a special train for the festival.

The Vande Bharat Special train running between New Delhi and Patna will operate as train number 02254/02253.

It will kick off its commercial journey from New Delhi on October 12, while from Patna Junction, it will start on October 11.

This train will be in service from October 11 until November 17.

The New Delhi-Patna Vande Bharat Special will cover approximately 1,000 km in about 13 hours.

New Delhi-Patna Vande Bharat Special train:

During its route from New Delhi to Patna, train number 02254/02253 will make stops at six railway stations – Aligarh, Kanpur Central, Prayagraj, Pt Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction, Buxar, and Ara.

Timing

The New Delhi-Patna Vande Bharat Special is set to leave the national capital at 08:35 hrs and will arrive in Patna at 21:30 hrs on the same day.

For its return trip, the Patna-New Delhi Vande Bharat Special will depart from Patna at 10:00 hrs and is expected to reach New Delhi at 23:30 hrs.
