Joshna Chinappa clinched her 11th PSA title at the Japan Open in Yokohama on Monday (October 13, 2025).
She won four games against Haya Ali of Egypt.
The former women’s world No 10 took down the third seed with scores of 11-5, 11-9, 6-11, 11-8 in a final that lasted 38 minutes at the $15,000 Challenger event.
Before that, she beat Egyptian fourth seed Rana Ismail with scores of 11-7, 11-1, and 11-5 in the semifinals.
Men’s Game
Abhay Singh, the current men’s national champion and ranked No 29 in the world, faced off against Victor Crouin, the French world No 9 and fifth seed. Unfortunately, he lost in the round of 16 at the Silicon Valley Open.
