Previously, teens could upload content to Spotlight, but their videos appeared without being linked to a public profile. With this update, younger Snapchatters can now build a Spotlight presence while keeping their experience tailored to their age group.
Importantly, privacy protections remain in place. Teen Spotlight posts will not be shared beyond their existing friends network, helping them gain visibility for their content without expanding access to strangers
Friends-Only Spotlight
