RRR, directed by SS Rajamouli, made history on Monday when it was announced that it had won the Oscar Award for Best Original Song. The first song from an Indian production to receive the honour was “Naatu Naatu,” which was composed by MM Keeravani and performed by Kaala Bhairava and Rahul Sipligunj.

The 95th Academy Awards were held in Los Angeles, and RRR arrived, witnessed, and utterly dominated them.
The Best Song Oscar went to Naatu Naatu from SS Rajamouli’s RRR. This is a Life (Black Panther: Wakanda Forever), Raise Me Up (Top Gun Maverick), Applause (Tell It Like a Woman), and Hold My Hand (Tell It Like a Woman) were the other contenders in the category (Everything Everywhere All at Once).
The musical performance of “Naatu Naatu” by Kaala Bhairava and Rahul Sipligunj was introduced on stage by Deepika Padukone, a presenter at the 2023 Oscars.

The explosive international blockbuster hit song was performed live on stage by Kala Bhairav and Rahul Sipligunj while both were clad in the conventional black kurta and dhoti.
