Yesterday, the final match was held in Ahmedabad. Chennai Super Kings Vs Gujarat Titans,A close match was held for these two teams.Ahmedabad Narendra Modi stadium was surrounded by yellow and blue color.Fans saw a tough competition between these two teams.The Ahmedabad ground itself looked like an ocean.The fans has come to such an extent.
Chennai Super Kings won the toss and elected to field. Both team performed in same squad.Previously,Gujarat Titans defeated Mumbai Indians entered into the final.In the semi final match held in Chennai, Chennai Super Kings defeated Gujarat Titans directly entered in the final. In Ipl 2023, Chennai is the first team to reach directly into the final.
The GT team batted first, GT openers gave a good start.CSK bowlers are struggling to take wickets.GT Batsman Saha,he scored a half century. Shubman gill,He scored a 39 for his part.Quality fast stumping from Dhoni, he is out for 39runs. After that Sai Sudharsan entered into the batting.He showed his quality performance.
The score card kept getting higher and higher because of his one game. He scored 96 runs.He got out(Lbw) the ball thrown by Matheesha Pathirana.Later,GT captain hardik pandya gave a small contribution for his team.Finally GT have Scored 214runs.This is the run scored by GT in 20 overs.It was biggest target for csk.
Chennai Super Kings came batting in second innings,Chennai openers started to play their game but the rain came in the first over.Due to the rain, their game started getting interrupted.The over was reduced.20 over game changed to 15 over.Again CSK batsmen entered into the field.They started to bat. The CSK openers played calmly and together scored 74 runs.
Ruturaj Gaikwad,He was the first to be out. These are the players who came after that Ajinkya Rahane(27runs),Ambati Rayudu(19runs),Shivam Dube(32).CSK opener Devon Conway is out for 47runs. Every CSK batsman gave a small contribution for their team.Conway was the top scorer for CSK.Even though all of them were out, Shivam Dube was still playing for csk.Shivam Dube,He has made the most of his opportunity in this season. His role was very important in this match. He scored 32 runs.He hit two sixes. Similarly, Rayudu gave his contribution in this match.His small contribution created a big impact in this match. It was the last match for Rayudu.A few runs from Dube and rayudu.The match started to turn towards CSK.
CSK needed 13 runs in the last over(15th over).GT Bowler Mohit Sharma, Whenever GT needed a wicket, he took it. He took an important wicket in the 13th over.That important wicket is Dhoni. Mohit sharma bowled last over. The last over match again started going towards GT.The whole world was thinking that GT is going to win this match on the first 4 balls.CSK needed 10 runs off the last two balls.Jadeja was on the field then the both team fans were eagerly waiting and watching to see who was going to win this match.
Finally,Mohit sharma bowled that last two balls. Many surprising and interesting things happened in those two balls.In IPL,They have shown many times that the impossible is possible.CSK won the match because that ball hit by Jadeja went for six and 4.Through this, CSK got a massive thrill Victory. Chennai Super Kings beat Gujarat Titans by 5 wickets and win the title for the fifth time.Ravindra Jadeja has a strong end.
After winning this ipl title. Jadeja wrote in Instagram ,”We did it for one and only ,”MS Dhoni”.Mahi Bhai,This is for you!”. After winning the match, Jadeja ran to see Dhoni and dhoni came and picked him up.Dhoni looks very emotional.Both shared a great moment there.
After losing this match,Hardik pandya remained calm.He appreciated his team mates and their performance.Later, he shares few words about MS Dhoni.He says,
Hardik Pandya is doing his job well. The way he approached Mohit sharma. It is a great thing that he appreciated his team mates actions without criticizing them.A good captain he will definitely come back.
