Apple reveals the iPhone 17 series along with the much awaited and debated iOS 26. The new operating system for iPhones features a fresh design language known as Liquid Glass, which the company describes as a ‘new translucent material that reflects and refracts its surroundings’.

The tech giant from Cupertino has made some tweaks to the app icons, widgets, and other interfaces that iPhone users engage with every day.

Another update is the newly revamped tab bar in first-party apps like Music, News, and Podcasts, which now floats above user content and shrinks dynamically while browsing.

People are curious about whether their iPhone will receive the Liquid Glass upgrade.

  • iPhone SE 2nd gen.

Sadly, the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone XR won’t be receiving iOS 26.IPhones will be capable of running iOS 26, they might not get all the newest features.

AI features could be restricted to the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and newer models.
