Chandrayaan 3 is expected to land on the moon on August 23 at 6:04 pm IST. ISRO scientists have faced many challenges and succeeded in reaching this stage.
The World is waiting to see which country will be able to land on the South Pole of the Moon for the first time. All Indians are waiting for those moments when chandrayaan 3 will land on the moon. All the indians are eagerly waiting to witness this historic moment.

The Indian Space Research Organisation launched Chandrayaan 3 missile successfully on July 14,2023.
Lunar mission Chandrayaan-3 was launched from the space port at Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh. It left there on July 14, 2023, at 2:35 pm IST from SDSC (Satish Dhawan Space Centre).

They have analyzed the mistakes made in last time chandrayaan 2 project and this time they have developed chandrayaan 3 from it.
On August 21, 2023, ISRO tweeted: “That two-way communication has been established between Chandrayaan 2 – Chandrayaan 3 “.
According to the Indian space agency,The Mission Operations Complex now has more channels for communication with the lander.
Objects of Chandrayaan 3
To gain further knowledge of the Moon’s surface, make up and evolution, Chandrayaan 3 started out with a specific objective. This mission’s main objectives were to increase our knowledge of the terrain, mineralogy, and presence of water molecules in the permanently shadowed areas of the lunar poles.
What are the challenges that Chandrayan 3 is facing today?
Chandrayaan 3 is about to land on the moon for the first time. The event that happens from 5.49pm to 6.04pm (23 August,2023) is so important.Today, it is scheduled to land at this hour.It is about to land in 15 minutes.Seven important phases in this 15 minutes.A big challenge awaits for chandrayaan 3.
Chandrayaan 3 will operate in seven phases during landing. What are the seven phases that went wrong last time and what improvements have they made to avoid this time.
Chandrayaan 3, which is traveling towards the moon in space, will first orbit the moon. Then it will go around in a oval path.At that time, It is 30 km when it is near the moon and 100 km when it is far away from the moon.On August 23rd, Chandrayaan 3 is expected to landing at a distance of 30 km. It is happening at the south pole of the moon.
The first phase is to come down at 7.4 km.The four legs used for landing should be forward and not downward.

The technology used in launching rockets is also used for landing in the moon.On one side, when the rocket is fired, on the other side, it moves forward.
A small rocket is attached to the legs of the rocket.Activating it.A thrust force is available at the top of the spacecraft. It will start slowing down.If the speed decreases, it will be easier to land.

When chandrayaan 3 is orbit the moon at 30km.The speed is 6000km.The speed gradually decreases due to thrust force.ISRO have set a speed limit. It takes ten minutes to reach that speed limit.
Second phase is to come down at 6.8km.Turn the lander’s legs so that it is convenient to land on the ground. They have fixed a place for landing, whether it is going to that place or need to change the direction.

The spacecraft is equipped with an artificial intelligence technology. They have already programmed the image of landing place. An artificial intelligence computer will keep taking pictures. The image of the land should match the image they have already programmed.By comparing the image taken by artificial intelligence computer with the existing image of the landing place, it will be on the right track.
Third phase is land on the moon surface. Here we do what we do to stop the car.We do same process here.If the rocket engine is run forward, its speed gradually decreases.A spaceship traveling at a speed of 1500 kilometers per hour. When it reaches 800 meters height, its speed decreases when rocket engine is pushed forward.
The 4th phase is they reduce the rocket thrust of the spacecraft. It comes from a height of 800 meters to a height of 150 meters.Suppose landing is on a rock or on a cliff or hole area but it will fall down.It will tell you exactly where chandrayaan 3 is going to land on the moon.
The gravitational force of the moon works here.It does not fall under the gravitational force of the moon and keeps it balanced.
The 5th phase is Even though the gravitational force of the moon pulls it slowly it will land little by little.
The 6th phase is From 60 meters to a height of 10 meters,It slowly moving towards the moon surface. It will take pictures continuously. When an object is seen from a distance, it is small, but when it is close, it is big.For this situation,At the bottom of the spacecraft there is a camera that looks at the ground. How fast is the surface area of the Moon expanding?.How fast the spacecraft is descending can also be calculated. If the spacecraft is going too fast while descending, there is a chance of it falling down.It has been created for safety.

The last phase is now, spacecraft only ten meters above the moon surfaces. At this time,Chandrayaan 3 Rockets will be switched off.Drop the vikram spacecraft like a stone.

Suppose Rocket turn it on, there is a chance that all the soil particles enter into the rocket. The solar panels on the surface of the spaceship will block the sunlight and prevent it from generating electricity. They follow this strategy to avoid it.

Phase 2,3,4,5,6,7 – All this process happens in last five minutes. Those last 5 minutes are very crucial for India.
It is a big challenge to face and will India win that challenge.
Will India be the first country to set land on the South Pole?.
