Air Marshal Bharti emphasized the efficiency of India’s complex and multi-layered air defense (AD) system earlier on Monday.

“This leads me to the point that, despite Pakistan’s relentless forces, the Indian Forces caused no significant harm to either the military or civilian infrastructure. The Indian Armed Forces, which comprise the Army, Navy, and Air Force, have implemented a complex and multi-layered air defense system that has been widely criticized by the general public. This powerful AD system is made up of numerous multilayer AD sensors and weapon systems. Additionally, the well-trained Indian people and the locally designed soft and hard kill counter-UAV devices stopped multiple waves of drones and UAVS that Pakistan had launched,” he said.

Additionally, Lieutenant General Rajiv Ghai, Director General Military Operations (DGMO), praised the multi-layered air defense system and stated that Pakistan had no possibility of breaching it.

“When the Pakistani air force assaulted our airfield and logistic station on May 9 and 10, they were unable to penetrate our robust air defense grid because we have a special combination of counter-unmanned aerial systems, air defense weapons, and electronic warfare tools in our inventory”,Ghai stated.

He also said,”There are numerous layers, counters, unmanned aerial systems, shoulder-fired guns, our old-fashioned air defense weaponry, and, finally, our newer air defense weapons system. Pakistan had absolutely no possibility of breaching our multi-layered defenses and attacking our airfield and logistical facilities”.
