On Wednesday, November 5, 2025, Chinese smartphone manufacturer Realme introduced its latest operating skin, Realme UI 7.0, which is built on Android 16.

This new interface will be pre-installed on Realme’s upcoming flagship phone, the Realme GT 8 Pro.

Additionally, the Realme GT 7 Pro will also receive the UI 7.0 update, with upgrades starting to roll out in November.

The company has shared a timeline for the UI 7.0 rollout to other Realme devices, scheduled for Q4 2025 and Q1 2026.

According to Realme, this new OS version “represents a significant advancement in intelligence, personalization, and smooth performance”.

UI 7.0 OS Features

The new UI 7.0 will feature a fresh light glass design that promises to enhance transparency, depth, and fluidity in the user interface.

It will include elements like the new Ice Cube Icons, Misty Glass Control Center, and Breathing Dock.

Realme’s latest operating skin will introduce the Flux Theme 2.0, which includes large text themes, a panoramic always-on display, and support for Live Photos and video wallpapers, complete with an AI-driven Dynamic Depth of Field effect that highlights the main subject.

Users will also have the ability to personalize their devices with fingerprint animations, interactive Flux Desktop icons that can be resized and recolored, along with a new collection of widgets and lock screen styles.

The new AI Notify Brief feature in Realme UI 7.0 will distill non-urgent notifications into a customized morning and evening summary.

The AI-enhanced skin will also provide an AI framing master that identifies the optimal framing for photos.
