Google has introduced Jules, a new tool, into the AI coding market. The public will now have access to the tool’s beta version, which was first made available to Google Labs in December of last year.
Similar to other AI coding helpers, Jules is capable of writing code, debugging, and testing.

According to a Google blog article,”It is an agentic, asynchronous coding assistance that seamlessly connects to your current repositories. It understands the entire context of your project, copies your codebase to a safe virtual machine (VM) on Google Cloud, and does out duties like creating new features, writing tests, giving audio changelogs, and updating dependent versions”.
Cursor and other well-known AI coding agents will be competitors of the tool.
Additionally, Google introduced Stitch, a new AI tool that enables developers to swiftly incorporate UI concepts into app designs. The tool,Gemini 2.5 Pro is now available on Google Labs.
In only a few minutes, users may experiment with various styles and layouts by just entering text prompts by referencing photos, which are subsequently translated into User Interface(UI) designs and frontend code.
The front-end code can be used to create UI assets, which can then be transferred to another design tool for additional refinement or put straight into apps.
