The company has rolled out a new feature called ‘Cinematic Video Overviews’, which lets users turn their research and notes into videos.
Announced by Google on NotebookLM’s official social media, Cinematic Video Overviews go beyond text summaries, transforming source materials into engaging videos with visuals, narration, and a structured story.
This feature is part of the latest update for NotebookLM Studio. It helps users understand complex information through short video clips.
NotebookLM analyzes your uploaded documents and notes using multiple AI models, extracts the key insights, and automatically turns them into an engaging video overview.

NotebookLM Studio offers tools like audio overviews, reports, slide decks, mind maps, and flashcards to turn raw research into multiple formats, making it easier to study, understand, and present information.
Cinematic Video Overviews are currently rolling out to NotebookLM Ultra users in English, with broader availability expected later as Google continues integrating AI to make information more interactive.
