There’s a lot of talk about a digital start-up in Hyderabad that is making investments in its employees’ job satisfaction at a time when work-life balance and burnout are hot topics.

The start-up has appointed Denver, a golden retriever, as its Chief Happiness Officer (CHO). The company’s co-founder posted the touching news on social media, and it has already received thousands of likes and gone viral.

Denver, the Chief Happiness Officer, is our newest employee. He doesn’t actually know how to code.He just shows up, wins people over, and keeps the spirits high.

“In addition, we’ve made the best choice by allowing pets. By the way, he has the best benefits in the company”, said Rahul Arepaka, co-founder of Harvesting Robotics, in a LinkedIn post.

Unexpectedly, Denver also has a formal LinkedIn profile with the following statement: As Chief Happiness Officer, I lead the charge in establishing a pleasant, inclusive, and enthusiastic work environment:

      1)Delivering prompt walk-ins to provide on-demand stress reduction.

      2)When affection quotas aren’t reached, barks are used to boost team morale.

      3)Attending important meetings(Particularly those that provide food)

      4)Increasing output by allowing for unplanned playtime.

      5)Greeting visitors, vendors, and new employees with zeal and interest.

Online users expressed their appreciation for Denver and the company’s commitment to assist staff in managing work-related stress, and many even left comments on the article.
