Hours after agreeing to halt all military operations and firing against India, Pakistan violated the ceasefire accord.

Drones hit Udhampur in Jammu once more, and on Thursday night, hours after India and Pakistan agreed to a ceasefire, explosions in Srinagar caused sirens and a blackout.
In addition, an immediate blackout enforcement was implemented in the district of Barmer, Rajasthan, along with an approaching air raid alarm. There were also gunshots heard in Baramulla and Budgam, in Jammu and Kashmir.
A senior government source told the Hindustan Times, “Ceasefire violations along the LoC [Line of Control] and drones over Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, and Rajasthan.” A ceasefire breach was also reported by the Border Security Force (BSF) in Akhnoor, RS Pura, although the force was reacting suitably.
Along with other places, Jammu’s Katra and Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan were also under a total darkness.
Pakistan violated the ceasefire agreement at a time when Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated that his nation “thinks this represents a fresh start in resolving the problems that have afflicted the area and impeded the path to peace, prosperity, and stability”.
Regarding the explosions, the chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir also commented on X. “How on earth did the ceasefire suddenly end? All throughout Srinagar, explosions may be heard! Abdullah Omar authored.
“What the hell just happened?” said Omar Abdullah following firing and explosions that were reported in Srinagar during the ceasefire.
Hours prior to Pakistan’s latest round of attacks, New Delhi and Islamabad had reached an agreement to cease military action against one another following more than three days of fierce fighting that began when the neighboring nation launched drones towards India following the Indian military’s “Operation Sindoor” aimed at terrorist infrastructure on May 7.
