Official Spokesman, Shri Randhir Jaiswal: Ladies and gentlemen, good evening. This is a press briefing about OPERATION SINDOOR and its advancements. To brief you, we have Wing Commander Vyomika Singh, Colonel Sofiya Qureshi, and Commodore Raghu R. Nair present.
Commodore Nair takes the floor from me now.
Nair, Commodore Raghu R.: Good evening, gentlemen and ladies. You are aware that an agreement has been reached to cease all military operations on land, at sea, and in the air, as stated by the Foreign Secretary. Additionally, the Indian Army, Indian Air Force, and Indian Navy have been told to uphold this accord.
You are aware of how careful and calculated our answers have been since the awful events at Pahalgam. We have provided you with information about them in a number of our press briefings over the last few days. Additionally, there is a substantial amount of disinformation being spread by the opposition.
Additionally, we believed that it was our responsibility as a professional military group to refute such false claims and present the case’s facts as they stand. I’ll now turn it over to Colonel Qureshi, my colleague, in order to do that.

Col. Sofiya Qureshi: Good day. I’ll now discuss the disinformation effort in Pakistan.
First, it is completely untrue that Pakistan used its JF-17 to damage our S-400 and BrahMos missile stations.
Second, Pakistan spread false information regarding our airfields at Sirsa, Jammu, Pathankot, Bathinda, Nalia, and Bhuj. This misinformation is also completely incorrect.
Third, Pakistan’s disinformation campaign claims that our ammo dumps in Chandigarh and Beas have been damaged, but this is also completely untrue. All these things are completely secure, as we informed you with facts and numbers during the morning briefing.
Now, I would like to inform you that at the Pakistani news conference, senior military officers—who are wholly untruthful and ignorant of the facts—discussed the country’s false accusations that the Indian Army had damaged mosques. I want to be very clear that India is a secular country, and our army is a great representation of the ideals that are outlined in our constitution.
The military assets of Pakistan, both air and land, were severely damaged by the Indian Armed Forces. Furthermore, Pakistan’s airfields at Jacobabad, Sargodha, Bhulari, and Skardu (Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir) were severely damaged by the Indian Armed Forces. In addition, the radar and air defense systems of Pakistan were rendered inoperable in the airspace.
I also want to draw attention to the fact that Pakistan’s offensive and defensive capabilities were completely devastated due to the severe losses sustained by its military infrastructure, manpower, command and control, and logistics facilities close to the Line of Control.
Lastly, I want to restate that the Indian Armed Forces are ready, alert, and totally dedicated to defending India’s integrity and sovereignty. Thank you. Jai Hind.

Wing Commander Vyomika Singh:Pakistan has made multiple attempts to disseminate a campaign of false information, as we have witnessed in recent days. There were attempts to claim that a JF-17 destroyed our S-400 at a northern base, which couldn’t be more untrue.

Furthermore, it was untrue that the BrahMos installation was assaulted and destroyed. It was also untrue to say that airfields in Srinagar, Jammu, Pathankot, Bhuj, Naliya, and other places had been destroyed. We showed you the pictures from today’s morning briefing, which also indicated that the forward munitions dumps at Chandigarh and Beas are in good condition.
Pakistan also used a new kind of misinformation campaign through its press conferences, which were conducted in a style that was entirely false and fact-free.
Pakistan has been disseminating false claims that mosques had been targeted by the Indian military. The Indian Armed Forces are a mirror of our constitutional ideals, and we must be clear that India is a secular country. We respect every house of worship, regardless of faith. The only targets of our actions have been terrorist camps and establishments that support anti-Indian activities. The Indian Armed Forces have not targeted any religious sites—I promise you that.
In the last few days, Pakistan has attacked our installations without warning, causing us to face severe and irreparable losses. It has been lost in the air and on land. Important Pakistani airbases, including Sargodha, Jacobabad, Bholari, and Skardu in Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir, have sustained significant damage. The defense of Pakistani airspace was also rendered impossible by the loss of the AD weapon system and radars.
Its defensive and offensive capabilities, as well as Pakistani morale, had completely collapsed due to the Line of Control’s severe and precise destruction to military infrastructure, command control centers, and logistic depots. Two military people were also involved.
Commodore Raghu R Nair:As a last reminder, even while we will be upholding the agreement that was made today—that is, the Indian Army, Indian Navy, and Indian Air Force—we are nonetheless completely equipped, constantly on guard, and dedicated to protecting the integrity and sovereignty of the nation. Every Pakistani blunder has been greeted with force, and any further escalation will demand a forceful reaction. We are still prepared to start whatever operations that may be necessary to defend the country.
Many thanks, ladies and gentlemen.
Official Spokesman, Shri Randhir Jaiswal: Thank you. With that, our briefing comes to an end.
