The Indian military launched Operation Sindoor in the early hours of May 7, 2025, carrying out 24 precision strikes on nine distinct targets in a 25-minute period as as a component of an immediate and forceful military response against terrorist sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).

These targets were spread across Pakistan, with four of them in Pakistan and five inside PoK. Below is a map that displays the nine targets.

Operation Sindoor

On May 7, 2025, Indian military forces launched missile attacks against nine terrorist targets in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Following Operation Sindoor, Pakistan used large calibre artillery and mortars to fire unprovoked over the Line of Control (LOC), killing 16 civilians in the process. Drone incursions that were successfully intercepted and stopped were recorded in a number of sites throughout the UT of Jammu & Kashmir as well as the States of Punjab, Rajasthan, and Gujarat between May 7 and May 10. Pakistan targeted Indian installations with about 300 to 400 drones.

Three family members were hurt when a projectile from the downed Pakistani drone crashed into a house in Village Khai Pheme Ke in Ferozpur, Punjab, burning the building and a car.

On Sunday, May 11, 2025, the directors general of the three Indian Armed Forces services spoke at a press conference about Operation Sindoor, claiming that more than 100 terrorists were slain, including those responsible for the Pulwama explosions and the IC 814 hijacking.

Muridke and Taiba Markaz

The Markaz Taiba, Muridke, terror infrastructure was hit by the Indian military. As seen below, four targets were destroyed inside the designated area.

In Bahawalpur, Markaz Subhanallah

The IAF located and hit targets in the area in Markaz Subhanallah, Bahawalpur.


The IAF published comprehensive photos of the damage caused by attacks on Markaz Subhanallah’s terror infrastructure.

Reaction to retaliatory attacks by Pakistan

Satellite images of the destruction of terror infrastructure brought about by Operation Sindoor were also given, as was satellite footage of military targets hit in retaliation for Pakistan’s attacks since Wednesday, May 7. Furthermore, the BSF said on May 10, 2025, that it had totally destroyed the terrorist launchpad in Looni in the Sialkot district, which is across from the Akhnoor area. The map displays the locations of the damaged terror launchpad and military targets in Looni.

The Airfield of Jacobabad

According to the satellite image, the Indian Armed Forces targeted and hit an aircraft hangar at a Pakistan Air Force (PAF) base near Jacobabad.

Airfield Nuk Khan (Chaklala)

At the Nur Khan Air Base in Rawalpindi, Pakistan, an operations center was the target of an attack.

The position and damage to the aircraft shelter, which was targeted and hit in the Sukkur airfield, are displayed.

Air Defense Radar in Pasrur

As seen image, an air defense radar in the Pasrur airfield was targeted and destroyed.

Airfield Bholari

As seen here, an aircraft hangar at the Bholari airbase was destroyed.

Airfield Sargodha

According to a press briefing on May 11, 2025, the Indian Armed Forces hit two locations within the Sargodha airfield. The following displays the damage that was incurred in the first area.
