On Saturday, May 24,Kush Maini has taken part in the Formula 2 Championship held by the FIA. Kush Maini has created history by becoming the first Indian to win an F2 race at Monte Carlo and his first win of the season.Maini is also a test and reserve driver for the BWT Alpine F1 team.

The reverse-grid rule in F2’s which flips the top 10 qualifiers for Saturday’s race, allowed Maini to start the sprint race from pole position.
After finishing tenth in the feature race qualifying round, Maini took advantage of the chance to win enormous glory by putting on a flawless performance on the treacherous streets of Monaco.
Who is Racing Driver Kush Maini
Kush was born in Bengaluru in September 2000.He is the younger brother of Arjun Maini, who served as a development driver for the Haas F1 team in 2017 and 2018. Additionally, he is the nephew of Chetan Maini, an Indian business tycoon in the electric vehicle sector who co-founded SUN Mobility and serves as its vice chairman.
Prior to this, Maini participated in Formula 4, the BRDC British Formula 3 Championship, the FIA World Endurance Championship, the Formula Renault Eurocup, and FIA Formula 3.

Maini is a member of the Alpine Academy, which produced Formula 1 drivers Jack Doohan and Romain Grosjean.
Nine years ago, Maini started racing single-seaters in the Italian F4 Championship for BVM Racing. With points from the first six races of the year, his campaign got off to a great start.
Maini joined Jenzer Motorsport in 2017 and resumed racing in Italian Formula Four alongside Job van Uitert, Federico Malvestiti, Giorgio Carrara, and Giacomo Bianchi.
Maini would have greater success in his sophomore year, finishing ninth overall thanks to two podiums at Imola and Monza and a string of top-five finishes.
Maini made his debut in the British Formula 3 Championship with Lanan Racing in 2018. After winning the Rockingham reverse-grid race and placing seventh overall, the season proved to be a breakthrough year.
Maini had intended to stay in the Eurocup in 2020 with three-time champions R-ace GP, but after COVID-19, he changed his mind and joined Hitech GP to rejoin the British F3 series.
Maini was set to join the Alpine Academy in October 2023.At the Red Bull Ring, he drove the Alpine A522 in his maiden Formula One test, which he called a “dream come true”.
