The “Dream Room Inspirations” function, which uses generative AI to assist furniture shoppers in creating visualizations of spaces and preferred aesthetics, was introduced by Google Cloud and Myntra.
Myntra and Google Cloud announced a partnership to introduce the AI-powered “Dream Room Inspirations” innovation feature, which would enable home furniture buyers to create images of rooms and various decor styles simply by responding to text prompts.
The new “Dream Room Inspirations” tool, which is driven by Google’s Imagen 3 AI model on Vertex AI, lets users visualize a space using text prompts, customize it to their preferred style, and create inspiration images for their experience purchasing.
Myntra’s Home category has become one of its quickest expanding segments, achieving a remarkable 60% growth in demand year-on-year. Categories such as Living & Decor and Kitchen & Appliances experienced more than 100% YoY growth. In the past year, Myntra has increased its offerings by 70% YoY, now showcasing over 500,000 styles from more than 1700 brands,” the company stated in a press release.

According to the company, some of the possible aesthetics or home designs that customers can currently visualize using AI are Indie Corner, Chic Coastal, Bohemian Chic, Eclectic Flair, and Modern Minimalist.
The creative ‘Dream Room Inspirations’ feature on Myntra is a prime example of how generative AI can close the gap between inspiration and purchase by giving customers access to exquisite, visually beautiful room images that are expertly crafted from text. This partnership demonstrates how our technology can enable top platforms like Myntra to reimagine customer experiences and take advantage of the substantial online demand in the home and furniture sector, according to Mitesh Agarwal, Managing Director, Customer Growth Engine, Architecture, Solutions & Technology, Google Cloud APAC.
