A top BSF official stated on Saturday, June 7, 2025, that soldiers wounded in the Pakistani strike in retaliation for Operation Sindoor have returned from the hospital with great morale and that they are once again prepared to respond appropriately to Pakistan in the event of any mishap.

According to him, the Border Security Force (BSF) is doing a great job of protecting the borders, and as long as the Force is present, there is no need for concern.

Operation Sindoor was more than a month ago. The injured members of our army have now returned from the hospital. In Jammu, BSF DIG Prabhakar Joshi informed reporters, “The Border Security Force has very good morale”.

He claimed that after recovering from their injuries, the wounded soldiers were once more prepared to exact revenge on Pakistan. “They have twice as much strength as they did previously, so they are ready to face any new Pakistani mishap and respond appropriately, leaving them with terrible memories for future generations”.

“These are the courageous BSF jawans who responded fiercely to Pakistan’s shelling during Operation Sindoor from May 7–10,” he stated, praising the jawans. They are once more prepared for duty. Future generations in Pakistan will remember our forceful response. “India strikes hard, speaks less,” he remarked.

The BSF has replied on the border with full force, according to the DIG.”Every BSF post has remained in place, and even those outside the border are fiercely defending their positions”,he stated.

Regarding security matters, he stated that border patrols are being conducted with the highest level of vigilance, ensuring the safety of the posts. “The Border Security Force is doing an outstanding job guarding the borders, and as long as the BSF is present, there’s no need for concern”,he remarked.

The DIG expressed that the nation has complete confidence in its courageous security forces, which will respond effectively, teaching Pakistan a lesson it will never forget. “If Pakistan attempts to repeat its past mistakes, our forces are ready to deliver a decisive response once more”, he stated.

The four injured officers are back on duty and conveyed a strong sense of morale to fulfill their responsibilities.

Sub-Inspector Vyas Dev of the BSF, who sustained a serious leg injury during Operation Sindoor, mentioned that he has faced significant disability but hasn’t lost his determination. “Even now, we are prepared to head back to the border and respond to Pakistan appropriately”, he stated.

Sub-Inspector Dev, who tragically lost two fellow officers in a shell attack on his post, expressed that this is the kind of bravery that characterizes our nation’s security forces. “We take pride in that. We are prepared to provide a strong response”.

“I am ready to respond decisively to Pakistan if it chooses to provoke us. Participating in Operation Sindoor was an opportunity for me”, he added.

In a similar vein, Constable Bhupendra Vajpayee of the BSF, hailing from Raebareli, Uttar Pradesh, has resumed his duties following his recovery from a combat injury. “On May 9, during Operation Sindoor, we faced heavy fire from Pakistan at our BOP. We retaliated with full strength”.

“Even after sustaining injuries from a drone strike, I am back and prepared for duty. This time, we will not only defend our position but also raise the Tricolour on their territory”, he stated.
