On Tuesday, June 17, 2025, TVS Motor Company revealed that it’s entering the Indonesian market for electric two-wheelers with its fully electric scooter, the iQube.
TVS Motor’s branch PT TVS Motor has started taking orders for the iQube in Indonesia, priced at an introductory rate of IDR 29.9 million (approximately ₹1.6 lakh), according to a statement from TVS Motor Company.
“The adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) in Indonesia’s two-wheeler market has experienced impressive growth, with a 101% CAGR (compound annual growth rate) over the past three years. We are excited to collaborate with the government’s initiatives to promote EVs by offering a dependable, high-quality product at an appealing price with the TVS iQube”, said James Chan, Senior Vice-President ASEAN at TVS Motor Company.
The Company announced that its electric scooter will be manufactured at the PT TVS Motor Company production facility located in East Karawang.
“We’re always working to enhance our EV capabilities throughout our sales and after-sales network to deliver a superior customer experience”, Mr. Chan mentioned.
Madhu Prakash Singh, Vice-President of EV International Business at TVS Motor Company, noted that the iQube has achieved a significant milestone of 600,000 customers worldwide.
“We’re sure that the outstanding and comfortable riding experience of the TVS iQube will impress our customers in Indonesia”, he added.
iQube delivers a practical range of 115 km on a single charge. It can reach a top speed of 78 km/h and goes from 0 to 40 km/h in just 4.2 seconds, according to the company.
