NASA has delayed the launch of the Axiom-4 mission, which was set for Sunday (June 22, 2025). This mission includes Indian astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla along with three other crew members heading to the International Space Station. A new launch date will be revealed in the next few days.

“NASA has decided to postpone the launch originally scheduled for Sunday, June 22, and will announce a new launch date soon”, Axiom Space mentioned in a statement.

The space agency requires more time to further assess the operations of the International Space Station following recent repairs made to the rear segment of the Zvezda service module in the orbital lab, it stated.

Due to the interconnected and interdependent systems of the space station, NASA aims to guarantee that the station is prepared for more crew members, and the agency is dedicating the necessary time to analyze the data, as stated by Axiom Space.
