Last month, Sudeesh Balan, the project director at ISRO, announced that the space agency is organizing two events for students where the astronaut will engage directly with them.

“One of the activities is a student event where the astronaut will interact directly with the student community. We are planning two such events across the country. In addition, there will be an amateur radio link, which is a tradition at the ISS. We will have an amateur radio contact with the students. We have already identified the students, and these activities are currently underway. We’ve pinpointed two locations in India where this will take place”, he stated.
