The Nothing Phone (3) is set to run on the newly released Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset and will feature a fresh design known as “Glyph Matrix”.
Nothing launching the Phone (3) tonight. In addition to its high-end flagship smartphone, the London based brand is also likely to reveal the Nothing Headphone (1), which will be their very first over ear headphones.
The Nothing Phone (3) launch event is set to kick off at 10:30 PM IST and will be streamed live on the Nothing website and the company’s YouTube channel. In contrast to its predecessor, the Nothing Phone (2), the new smartphone will feature a fresh design. CEO Carl Pei mentioned that the phone will be crafted from “premium materials” and will include “software that really levels things up”.
As for the Headphone (1), not much information is available yet, but Tom Ridley, a designer at Nothing, shared that they aim to create “a more interesting looking pair of headphones that say something about you”.
What can you expect from the Nothing Phone (3)?
Nothing has confirmed that the Phone (3) will run on the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, which is also found in the newly launched Poco F7. The company mentioned that this smartphone will receive at least 5 years of OS updates and 7 years of security patches.
In terms of design, the Phone (3) won’t feature the iconic Glyph interface that the brand is known for. Instead, it will introduce a new design called “Glyph Matrix”. This could be similar to the Mini-LED programmable matrix seen in the ASUS ROG Phone 8. Like its predecessor, the upcoming phone is expected to have a transparent back panel that reveals the device’s internals.
Recently leaked images of the Phone (3) from Android Headlines indicate that the new device will feature two cameras placed side by side, with a third camera located on the right. On the back, we can expect a triple camera arrangement that includes a 50MP main camera, a 50MP telephoto lens, and an ultrawide sensor.
Regarding the price, Nothing’s CEO Carl Pei has mentioned that the Phone (3) will retail for 800 pounds, which is about Rs 90,000, but the company might introduce it in India at a price range of Rs 50,000 to Rs 60,000.
