Instagram has shared that they’ve resolved a bug that was limiting the reach of accounts that post several stories in one day.
In a video shared on the platform, Instagram’s head Adam Mosseri mentioned that “people were voicing concerns about experiencing reduced reach with their stories when they posted several in one day” and explained that this was an unintentional issue.
After examining the situation more closely, they have resolved the problem, and now sharing multiple stories won’t affect your reach.
However, he didn’t provide any details on why this was occurring or clarify if the bug was activated by any specific user actions.
This doesn’t imply your followers will check out all your stories, and some might feel overwhelmed if there are too many.
If you’re using Instagram just to stay in touch with friends, this bug fix might not really matter to you.
