Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has rolled out a special mobile prepaid promotional plan called the “Diwali bonanza.”
As per BSNL’s General Manager P. Loganathan, this initiative aims to provide great value and attract new customers to its 4G network during the festive season.
The plan is priced at just ₹1 and offers new subscribers a full mobile service package that lasts for 30 days.
This includes unlimited voice calls (local and STD), 2 GB of high speed data each day, and 100 SMS daily.
This offer is valid until November 15 and is available to new BSNL customers, including those switching to BSNL through mobile number portability (MNP).
Additionally, BSNL has introduced e-SIM (Embedded-Subscriber Identity Module) services for customers in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry who have devices that support e-SIM technology.
Both new and existing BSNL customers can take advantage of this service.
To activate their e-SIM, customers need to visit the nearest BSNL Customer Service Centre to complete the KYC (Know Your Customer) process, after which they can activate it by scanning a QR code.
