After narrowly beating South Africa by 17 runs in a nail-biter in Ranchi during the first ODI.

1st ODI Highlights

With Virat Kohli leading the charge with a brilliant century, his 52nd ODI ton, India scored 349 for eight after being asked to bat first.

In their chase for 350, South Africa lost Ryan Rickelton and Quinton de Kock, both without scoring in the second over.

By the fifth over, stand-in captain Aiden Markram also headed back to the pavilion, but South Africa’s middle-order fought back valiantly.
