India is fully geared up, prepared to take on the European giant directly.

When these Asian and European titans meet in the semifinals of the FIH Junior Men’s Hockey World Cup at the SDAT-Mayor Radhakrishnan Stadium this Sunday, expect some fireworks.

Both teams faced nail-biting moments in the quarterfinals – Germany against France and India against Belgium and had to rely on penalty shootouts to move forward.

Goalkeepers Jasper Ditzler and Princedeep Singh were crucial, saving their teams in the clutch moments.

India’s forwards, however, didn’t perform as well as anticipated, even with midfielder Manmeet Singh putting in a solid effort with his relentless work rate and sharp passing.

This Sunday’s match is set to be thrilling. India has to outsmart their opponents to pull off a surprise win.

With both teams in great shape, fans are eagerly waiting to see the tactical moves and counter-moves each side will bring to the table.

In the other semi-final, Spain will face off against Argentina.
