On Tuesday(January 6,2026), Lenovo, the biggest personal computer manufacturer in the world, announced its partnership with Nvidia, a leading AI chip company in the U.S.

This collaboration aims to assist AI cloud providers in rapidly setting up data centers as Lenovo works to make its mark in the AI space.

The announcement was made during the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, where Lenovo also presented an AI platform, some concept devices, and the first foldable smartphone from its Motorola brand.

Lenovo plans to provide its liquid-cooled hybrid AI infrastructure in conjunction with Nvidia’s computing platforms as part of the data center initiative,which will enable AI cloud providers to reduce deployment times to “weeks”.

Yang also introduced Qira, a personal AI system that is designed to function across Lenovo and Motorola devices, including PCs, phones, tablets, and wearables, even running in the background.

According to Lenovo, this system will also be capable of providing services from companies like travel agency Expedia.

Additionally, Lenovo revealed concept AI glasses, joining the ranks of Alibaba and Samsung Electronics in this field, along with an AI assistant wearable device currently in development under ‘Project Maxwell’, which aims to provide real-time assistance to the user.
