Earlier in the game, the Gujarat Giants set a new record for their highest total in the WPL, thanks to a stunning half-century from their captain, Ashleigh Gardner.
She partnered with young Anushka Sharma in a fantastic 103-run partnership, with Sharma impressively scoring 44 on her debut.
Sophie Devine kicked things off with some early runs, and Georgia Wareham along with Bharti Fulmali finished strong, adding some late fireworks to complete a powerful batting display.
For the UP Warriorz, Sophie Ecclestone shone as the top bowler, taking two wickets, while Shikha Pandey and Deandra Dottin each grabbed one.
Unfortunately, aside from Sophie, no other bowler managed to keep their economy under nine, which hurt their chances.
Renuka Singh Thakur was the standout bowler with impressive figures of 2/25, and she was backed up by Georgia Wareham, who also took 2 wickets to break the chase apart.
Gujarat Giants had scored 207/4 in their 20 overs.
UP Warriorz could only put up 197/8 in their attempt to chase down 208 runs against Gujarat Giants.
Phoebe Litchfield put in an effort to win to make her team win, but the UP Warriors failed.
