Earlier, the 14-year-old prodigy Vaibhav Suryavanshi scored 72 runs off 67 balls, while 17-year-old wicketkeeper-batter Abhigyan Kundu contributed a steady 80.
It helped India set a total of 238 after being asked to bat first.

Suryavanshi made history as the youngest player to hit a fifty in U19 World Cup history and also overtook Virat Kohli in the rankings for most runs in youth ODIs.
On the Bangladesh side, pacer Al Fahad achieved a remarkable five-wicket haul.
After starting strong at 106 for 2, Bangladesh U19 was dismissed for 146 while chasing a revised target of 165 in just 29 overs.
