On Tuesday, March 10, 2026, Xiaomi officially launched the Xiaomi Pad 8 in India, bringing its latest tablet powered by HyperOS 3 and a Snapdragon processor.

It comes pre-installed with HyperOS 3, which includes refreshed lock screens, wallpapers, and customizable widgets.
Additionally, it introduces a new dock that supports more apps. It also includes a workstation mode for better PC-level browser functionality.

Xiaomi has also added stylus support with the Focus Pen Pro, which will be available as an accessory and includes rotation support.
The Xiaomi Pad 8 packs a 9,200 mAh battery. It supports 45W turbo charging and includes a 67W charger in the box.
The Xiaomi Pad 8 runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor. It comes with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB UFS 4.1 storage.
Xiaomi promises four years of Android OS updates. The tablet will also receive six years of security updates.

The Xiaomi Pad 8 features a 13MP rear camera with PDAF autofocus and HDR support. It can record 4K video at 30fps.

The starting price for the Xiaomi Pad 8 is ₹33,999 for the 8 GB/128 GB model, while the 12 GB/256 GB version is priced at ₹36,999.
The Nano Texture variant (12 GB/256 GB) is available for ₹38,999.
Xiaomi is introducing a Creator’s Edition of the Xiaomi Pad 8, which comes with the Xiaomi Focus Pen Pro, priced at ₹41,999 for the standard display and ₹43,999 for the Nano Texture variant.
