Instagram recently introduced “Your Algorithm”, a feature that allows users to view and control what appears under the Reels tab.
Adam Mosseri, the head honcho at Instagram, mentioned that users will spot the new ‘Your Algorithm’ tab in the top right corner, where they can check out a quick summary of their interests in Reels. These summaries are generated by AI and are based on what users have been up to lately.
Users can pick from topics that the platform thinks they’re into and decide what they want to see more of or even what they’d like to see less of.
The topics available will include things like Painting, GRWM, Chess, or Horror Movies.
Users will also have the chance to share this summary with their followers on the platform.
This feature is rolling out first in the U.S. starting today, with plans to go global soon.
