India and Namibia faced off in the ICC Men’s World Cup 2026 on Thursday (February 12, 2026), at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.

Earlier, Namibia won the toss and chose to bowl first.
India got off to a flying start with Ishan Kishan smashing 61 off just 24 balls (SR 250+), while Sanju Samson added a rapid 22 off 8 balls.
However, Namibia pulled things back by removing both openers.
Suryakumar Yadav scored 12 off 13 balls, adding a few runs but failing to accelerate, while Tilak Varma chipped in with a steady 25 runs off 21 balls to provide stability in the middle overs.
Hardik Pandya smashed 52 runs off 28 balls. While Shivam Dube added a quick 23 runs from 16 balls.

Jan Frylinck also contributed a quick 22 runs off 15 balls, but other batters failed to make significant scores.
Varun Chakravarthy was on fire, taking 3 wickets and giving away hardly any runs, which really put the Namibian team under pressure early on.
