On Saturday, August 23, 2025, Cristiano Ronaldo made history by being the first player to net 100 competitive goals for four different clubs.

Unfortunately, Al-Nassr fell short against Al-Ahli in a penalty shootout after the Saudi Super Cup final ended in a 2-2 draw.

The initial half strike at Hong Kong Stadium marked the 40 year old’s century for the Saudi Arabian club he signed with in December 2022.

This brings his total to 450 goals with Real Madrid, 145 with Manchester United.

101 with Juventus, putting Ronaldo ahead of the three players who had netted 100 goals for three different clubs: Isidro Langara, who played in Spain from 1930 to 1948, along with Brazilian legends Romario and Neymar.

The five time Ballon d’Or winner gave Al-Nassr the lead with a penalty at the 41 minute mark, but Franck Kessie quickly leveled the score for Al Ahli.

With just seven minutes left, Marcelo Brozovic put Al-Nassr back in front, but Brazilian defender Ibanez managed to head in a corner, sending the match to a penalty shootout.

Ronaldo converted another penalty, but his teammate Abdullah Al Khaibari missed his shot, allowing Al-Ahli to clinch a 5-3 victory and secure the first trophy of the Saudi Arabian season.

Ronaldo, still chasing his first big trophy in Saudi Arabia, is the top international goalscorer with 138 goals for Portugal.
