India clinched a solid seven wicket win against the West Indies in the second Test at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.

Chasing a modest target of 121, India started the final day at 63/1 and needed just 58 more runs to claim the win.

KL Rahul was the star of the morning session, finishing with an impressive unbeaten 58 to lead the hosts to victory.

He initially teamed up with Sai Sudharsan (39), and together they formed a vital 79-run partnership for the second wicket that pretty much sealed the match.

Even though the West Indies managed to take two quick wickets – off-spinner Roston Chase (2/36) got both Sudharsan and Captain Shubman Gill (13).

The target was simply too small to defend. Rahul and wicketkeeper-batter Dhruv Jurel (6 not out) made sure there were no more hiccups, steering India to the finish line in 35.2 overs.

India concluded a decisive 2-0 series victory on Tuesday(October 14,2025).
