A new feature from Google Gemini, the popular AI chatbot, can turn your document into an eye-catching presentation or start from scratch with just a text prompt.

Gemini’s Canvas tool just received a significant upgrade.

This new tool, part of Gemini’s Canvas functionality, is especially useful for those who frequently need to whip up presentations from nothing.

Professionals can use this tool to help transform complex documents and sales briefs into visually appealing pitch decks.

It can also be useful for crafting summary presentations for meetings.

Students can leverage it to create visuals and structured explanations for challenging topics or to transform essays and notes into neatly organized slides.

Here is a quick tutorial on how to use Gemini to make a Google Slides presentation

Gemini can turn your documents into Google Slides presentations.

This new feature in Gemini is beneficial for both professionals and creators who often find themselves crafting Google Slides presentations.

1) Open Gemini’s web version on your PC or mobile device, then choose Canvas from the toolbar.

2) Next, start your prompt by saying, “Create a presentation” that is focused on the subject you have selected.

3) You can use this location to upload documents and use them to make presentations.

4)Gemini will then create slides based on your prompts.

In a post on X, Google announced that users will have the ability to upload their preferred sources to “create entire decks with images and data visualization”, which can then be exported to Google Slides for further editing and presentation.

According to Google, the new feature will be available to Pro subscribers first, while free users will have to wait a few more weeks.
