YouTube revealed a fresh batch of AI tools, partnerships, and educational initiatives during its annual Impact Summit in New Delhi on Monday(November 17,2025).

Their aim is to enhance India’s knowledge and creative sectors through AI-powered features and collaborations with institutions.

Officials from the government who were present at the summit remarked that these new initiatives align with national objectives regarding information accessibility, digital safety, and economic involvement.

YouTube has partnered with the Indian Institute of Creative Technologies (IICT) in Mumbai.

This partnership will feature knowledge-sharing sessions with industry experts, a Create with AI funding program for students, projects for artists in animation, gaming, and film, and assistance in launching IICT’s official YouTube channel.

Additionally, YouTube has broadened its efforts to enhance access to trustworthy health information and promote digital well-being.

The platform plans to boost the availability of First Aid shelves, ensuring that search results feature reliable, easy-to-understand videos on a wider range of health topics.

YouTube has teamed up with the College of Nursing at AIIMS to offer professional nursing courses that cover topics like wound care and infection control in hospitals.

These resources will be accessible to nursing students and nurses all over India.

One of the new features rolled out is a conversational AI tool that lets viewers ask questions right in the video player and get instant responses.

Currently, it’s available in English, with plans to add Hindi support soon.

Additionally, YouTube is launching a feature that allows users to set daily scrolling limits in the Shorts feed, building on existing tools designed to help users, especially those under 18, manage their viewing habits.

In the realm of creative tools, YouTube has announced a broader rollout of the Edit with AI feature in the YouTube Create app.

This tool generates a first draft from raw footage, which cuts down on editing time.

The company has also started an open beta for its likeness detection system for YouTube Partner Program members.

This feature notifies creators if their facial likeness is used in AI-generated or altered videos and gives them the option to request removal.
