Google has launched a significant update that allows users to easily transfer files between Android and iPhone using Quick Share and AirDrop, starting with the new Pixel 10 series.

Google shared that Quick Share can now connect directly with AirDrop.

It’s making it easier and more intuitive to transfer files between Android and iPhone.

With plans to expand this experience to more Android phones, this feature is currently available on Pixel 10 devices.

Google highlighted that security is a top priority for this rollout, mentioning that strong protections, verified by independent experts, safeguard data during transfers.

This update highlights Google’s commitment to enhancing cross-platform compatibility, following previous initiatives like improved rich communication services (RCS) and alerts for unknown trackers.
