Oppo has been in the smartphone game for over ten years, but usually, their devices emphasize either design or camera quality.
Mobile gaming gaining traction in India, Android manufacturer has introduced its very first dedicated gaming phone – the K13 Turbo Pro.
Design And Display
The rear of the Oppo K13 Turbo Pro features a variety of geometric designs with a matte texture, providing a solid grip.
The phone has a somewhat boxy shape, similar to many flagship models, and sports a flat AMOLED display on the front.
The power button is located in the center, with volume controls and cooling fan vents positioned above it.
K13 Turbo Pro has IPX6, IPX8, and IPX9 ratings, which means it can easily withstand rain and high pressure water jets. However, it doesn’t have any official dust resistance, so dropping it in sand could cause some issues.
Oppo K13 Turbo Pro features a flat 6.8 inch AMOLED screen.
Software And Performance
Oppo K13 Turbo Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, the same chip that runs the Poco F7.
Oppo K13 Turbo Pro ships with ColorOS 15 on Android 15 right out of the box, and it’s only set to receive two OS updates.
With Android 16 on the horizon, that means the phone will only get its final update next year.
Camera
Oppo K13 Turbo Pro stands out with just a single 50MP camera housed in a pill shaped module.
At first glance, it might seem like there are two camera sensors, but the lower hole with the LED notification is actually just the inlet for the cooling fan.
Since this is a gaming phone, less impressive camera setup. It was just a basic 8MP sensor.
Speaking of the 50MP lens, it captures excellent photos in daylight, and the nighttime shots are pretty decent too.
Battery
The Oppo K13 Turbo Pro truly offers the best battery life.
The Oppo K13 Turbo Pro comes with a huge 7,000mAh Silicon Carbon battery that can easily last over a day, even with heavy usage.
Plus, it charges in about an hour, thanks to the super fast 80W charger that comes in the box.
The Oppo K13 Turbo Pro seems to be aimed at gamers. However, if you’re a mobile gamer looking for a device that can handle long gaming sessions without overheating, the Oppo K13 Turbo Pro is certainly a great option.
